I am not sure why I am adding one more thing to my plate but those of you that know me well know that sometimes I just can't help myself. This blog may possibly be a good way to stay in touch with friends and family as well as customers and fill some internal need for a way to unload. I will do my best to keep my posting light and fun. I want to help you stay connected with our daily happenings here in the Heritage Village as well as at SuGaBuG Kids. Of course, that will include what's happening in Alexis' life as well!
This afternoon seems to be quiet. As some of you know my Poppa is in the Va palliative care unit over in Gainesville, FL. A quiet afternoon seems appropriate as I sit here and try to concentrate on all the work I should be doing like making headbands and doing paperwork but instead I am thinking back to days gone by when I sat with Granny and Poppa on the backporch canning or as today is Friday... Poppa and I were probably headed off the watch the Bronson Eagles play basketball somewhere in the state. Poppa never missed a game at home or away. He sure loved him some Bball. I'm sure that God has a pair of orange and blue converses waiting on him and his new body in heaven. Granny will be happy to see him again after 10 years! We love you both and will miss you here but know that there is a better place waiting on you.
As I will be out of the store for a few days, I will be counting on my"girls" to help me out. Thank you so much for your help and support.
